尊敬的家長：
您好!“一切為了學生，為了學生的一切”是學校的辦學宗旨，我們始終視師生的生命安全為最高利益。你的子女是我校的學生，他們的安全教育和防范工作始終是我們學校工作的重點。而學生安全教育是個系統工程，需要學校、社會、家長密切配合，齊抓共管。最近無錫市人民政府召開了安全工作緊急會議，會上市委領導要求全社會都來關心學校的安全工作，要從全面落實“科學發展觀”和“三個代表”重要思想的高度抓好學校安全工作，牢固樹立“以人為本”、“安全第一，預防為主”的理念，以對下一代高度負責，警鐘長鳴，常抓不懈，采取教育、預防等措施，家校合作共同做好學生的安全教育和防范工作。現學校將有關安全教育內容打印成文，供家長們教育子女時作參考，建議家長們能常年做好以下十個方面的工作：
（一）要加強對子女的思想道德和法紀教育，教育子女遵守社會公德和公共秩序；尊敬師長，友愛同學，講禮貌，講文明，懂道理。
（二）要重視對子女的安全教育和防范，增強其安全意識，培養其防范不法侵害和抵御災害的能力。
（三）要加強與學校、老師的溝通配合，了解學校作息時間和有關規定。經常與班主任聯系，溝通學生在家、在校的表現情況，雙休日、節假日、放學期間及晚上要特別加強對子女的管理和監護。子女未到校上課要查明原因并及時告知班主任。
（四）要做好子女的交通安全教育。教育子女自覺遵守交通規則，不闖紅燈，不騎飛車，不亂穿馬路，不騎摩托、電動車來校，不開汽車來校。騎車不帶人，橫穿道路時注意過往車輛，不乘坐非法運行的黑車和超載車輛。
（五）要注重消防安全教育，不接觸易燃易爆及危險品，不私接私拉電器，不玩打火機、火柴，嚴禁野外用火、焚燒紙屑，住宿學生同時嚴禁在宿舍內點燃蚊香。使用電器要注意用電安全，人離開時須將電源插頭拔掉。
（六）要鼓勵子女積極參加體育鍛煉，養成良好的生活習慣。不抽煙、不喝酒、不暴飲暴食，不食“三無”和霉變的食品，不到街頭游販處購買食品，防止病從口入。勤理發、勤洗澡、勤曬被褥、清潔衛生，勤儉節約，不穿名貴高檔衣服、球鞋，少吃零食。
（七）要教育子女遵守學校規定，不賭錢，不打架，不進游戲機廳、網吧及其它未成年人不宜進入的場所，堅決不讓孩子攜帶管制刀具進入學校和公共場所。
（八）要教育子女慎交友，交益友。嚴禁子女與社會上不良分子來往，與他人發生矛盾、糾紛要及時報告家長、老師，不得求助于社會閑雜人員和外校學生，未經家長允許不得在外留宿，子女外出須向家長請假。
（九）要重視防止意外事故發生。教育子女不要到危險和復雜的地方游玩；要防止子女私自結伴外出，嚴禁子女私自下河（塘、溪、溝等）游泳玩水。
（十）要尊重、關心、理解子女，教育子女時，要曉之以理，動之以情，導之以行，切忌對子女采取簡單粗暴的方法。要重視子女的心理健康教育。
