尊敬的各位專家、領導：上(下)午好!首先我對各位的到來致以最誠摯的歡迎!各位在來德州之前，想必已經對德州扒雞早有耳聞了吧?接下來，由我帶領大家一起來探尋德州扒雞的歷史淵源。德州扒雞文博館始建于2007年8月，總面積近3000平方米，共分為四個展廳:歷史篇、發展篇、成就篇和德寶館。第一展廳
我們現在看到的是第一展廳，是以人物雕像、彩繪壁畫以及老照片的形式展示了德州歷史的風土人情及美食文化，其主題為歷史篇。
首先，正中央的人物雕塑群再現了1956年公私合營，成立德州扒雞食品公司的情形。當時同義合扒雞聯營社、德州火車站扒雞小賣所和肉食經營商會的56位扒雞傳人，一并加入了國營食品公司，并在這里建立了扒雞加工廠，從而開始了扒雞生產經營的新紀元。前面的這兩位塑像就是為張樹林和崔長清兩位師傅量身打造的(他們時任扒雞聯營社經理、副經理)。
右手邊的人物仿銅塑像是在德州這片沃土上孕育出來的名人雅士，分別是彎弓射日的英雄后羿;他是夏代時期的德州人，這位帶有傳奇色彩的部族首領，代表著整個中華民族的力量和勇氣。
這位是漢代文學家東方朔，或許大家最熟悉的還是他與卓文君那段傳頌千古的“鳳求凰”的浪漫故事，其實他在詞賦辯論方面也有很高的造詣。唐代大書法家顏真卿所書的東方朔畫贊碑現存于德州陵縣文博苑內。
他就是一代儒學大師董仲舒，西漢時期廣川人，眾所周知，他的“罷黜百家，獨尊儒術”的思想，對兩千余年封建社會以儒學為正統產生了極為深遠的影響。
這位是為官清廉治學嚴謹的康熙啟蒙老師田雯，清順治十八年考中進士，曾任江南學政、江寧巡撫、刑部右侍郎、戶部左侍郎等官職。德州呂家街人。此人為官非常富有開拓精神，深受康熙皇帝的賞識，他在文學上的成就也很高，被譽為康熙朝的一代文宗。
右側墻上的老照片為德州的歷史遺跡。這張為永慶寺藏經樓，舊址為現今德州一中的位置，原為古佛寺，始建于唐貞觀年間，殿宇巍峨，堪稱巨剎，佛殿前有清乾隆皇帝御書的漢滿蒙藏四種文字的四面碑，1928年，該寺遭到破壞。

這張照片是雙高碑，自清代康熙和光緒年間，先后在德州城北第三屯一帶，發現我國北魏高氏墓碑墓志四件，其中，高植高湛的墓志已經遺失，高貞高慶的墓碑雖然殘破，總算幸存下來，現保存在山東省博物館。這兩幢1400年的古代碑志，無論其歷史文物價值或書法藝術價值來講，都堪稱我國金石史上的瑰寶。
周圍的彩色壁畫是我國著名畫家馬海方先生特意為我們集團創作的德州扒雞史話(這是仿制品，真品由文博館收藏)。
這是古德州城的地圖，一張是乾隆53年版，一張是民-國二十四年版。因為京杭運河的緣故，古德州城呈靴子狀，面積很小，對比1935年的地圖可以看到，南門到現在的東方紅路，北門到青年路，東門到新湖北街，西門到迎賓路，是現在德州城的三十分之一。
這幅巨大的彩色油畫是根據《德縣志》記載紀錄了康熙南巡時，他的老師戶部侍郎田雯侍駕的歷史佳話。
